Content guidelines

The article should be practical and easy to understand, so writing something that does not have a clear purpose and value to a reader is a no-no. Second-rate blog posts compiled from two or three top-ranking articles on a topic are not welcome on our blog.

Here are our YES to an article:

A fresh and unique piece that has not been published anywhere else.

. Most of the points are explained with real and measurable examples.

A guest post contains links to Casinos Stories resources and services where possible.

Here is our NO’s to an article:

A topic that is already covered in our blog.

An article that describes obvious things and needs more in-depth knowledge on a topic.

A publication contains bombastic words and stock images.

Please note that the Casinos Stories blog team reserves the right to edit, remove, or change your content as they see fit.

Style guidelines

The article is written in simple English and is easy to understand by native and non-native english speakers. We will not consider incomprehensible posts or articles with grammar or spelling errors.

Here are some important rules related to the style of your article:

  • Use uppercase and lowercase for the title of your article: that is, capitalize all words except prepositions, articles, and conjunctions. Use upper and lower case for all your headings and subheadings.
  • Do not put a period, question mark, or colon at the end of your title, headings, or subheadings.
  • Use English punctuation and spelling.
  • Use “they” as a singular pronoun if the gender of your subject is unknown or irrelevant.
  • Use “email” or “email campaign” instead of mailing or emails.
  • Do not include punctuation and previous articles or pronouns when inserting a link. A reader needs to understand what to expect after following the link, so it’s essential that the anchor text builds her expectations and that the blog post you link to lives up to them.
  • Don’t include stock images to break up the text. Each visual element should complement the text in terms of content and value. We typically use email examples, chatbot scripts, structures, platform interface screenshots, graphics, or other images to illustrate your point.
  • Remember to include a brief introduction before each visual element. You should describe what the reader sees on your screenshot, introduce its features, and reinforce your point. Be sure to include a short description under each image. If the image is taken from a third-party site, hyperlink to your source.

Write a good introduction and add a short description of the image.

structure guide

Here are some tips to make your structure clear and easy to understand.

Use the H1 format for your guest post title. Do not use periods or question marks at the end of your titles.

Write a headline to help the reader understand how your post will benefit them.

Titles and subtitles

It explains the topic from simple points. Divide your post into smaller parts and apply H2 or H3 styling to your subheadings. You need them to provide hierarchy and clarity to your article. In addition, informative subheadings help people visualize your post and better understand its structure.

Add a few introductory sentences after each heading to space out your text. Putting the subheadings right after the titles can create confusion and make it easier for the reader to distinguish between your ideas.

Bulleted and numbered lists

  • Use bulleted and numbered lists to present steps in a process, related items, or sets of information. Your list should have an entry to indicate its meaning or purpose.
  • When using a numbered list, capitalize the first word of each period and put a period in the end. Here’s an example of a numbered list:
  • Punctuate your numbered lists using case sensitivity and a period at the end of list items
  • When the order of items in a list is not essential, present the information in a bulleted list. Use lowercase for the first word of the period and place a comma or semicolon at the end of each period. Take a look at the example of such a list below:

In a bulleted list, keep it lowercase and place a semicolon at the end of the list of items.
